Exercise. Today’s twist: write an adverb-free post.

It’s almost noon. The school yard is waiting for the kids to come out. The only tree dominates the center of the perimeter, improving the whole space with its magnitude. The sun invades all the area that is not protected by the shadow of the tree leaves. Some parents and grandparents discuss  the new regulations, glancing from time to time at the building exit. A few older brothers march across the fence that ends the green space.  After ten minutes, noise fills this scene, transformed by children’ s voices and  laughter. Everyone hurries to get together and leave.
